Hello Crafters!

Here is our latest card made in our regular workshops.

This card uses Phills 8×8 Paper Pads, new DL Verse Stamps, Colour Cloud, Shimmer Shakers and Sue Wilson Dies (Daisies and Curly Fern)

Our main sample card uses the Decadent Damask Paper Pad and Decadent Teal Colour Cloud, but as always we have included examples made with other colours.

Stage 2 – Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner on the reverse side of the front paper layer (Fig 1), then place a 9.5cm x 9.5cm square on the centre (fig 2) and draw around it (fig 3)  Cut along the centre lines out to the square corners with a craft knife. Turn the paper over the right way and gently fold back the flaps and stick down with a little glue. (fig 4).  When the glue is dry stick the paper layer to the white layer.

TIP – Only gently fold the flaps and keep a slightly curved inside edge.

Stage 3 – Colour your layers with coordinating Colour Cloud Inks to give a soft blended colour.  We have used Decadent Teal Colour Cloud.

Stage 4 – Colour your flowers with either the Colour Cloud or cordinating Shimmer Shakers. On our main sample card we have used Teal Ocean and Sparkle Snow Shimmer Shakers. Shape your flowers and glue together layers where you wish.

Stage 5 – Stamp your chosen Sentiment in either black or a coordinating Distress Oxide Ink.  On our sample we have used Peacock Feathers.  We have used the Achievement Verse Stamp; main verse inside and smaller sentiment on the front.

Stage 6 – Assemble the card layers, using foam tape and glitter where you wish.   We have also added Porcelain White 8mm Pearls.

TIP – add coordinating Pearl PVA in the centre of your flowers for more interest.
